How can I get rid of a Macromedia Pop Up Window that pops up every time I
open some News Pappers.
It is not in Add and Remove Programs to deleted there.
Where can I find it and deleted?
Thanks.

You may be referring to pop-up advertising, which can include videos created
with software written by the Macromedia company.

Service Pack 2 adds a pop-up blocker to Internet Explorer, along with many
other security upgrades. You should definitely install Service Pack 2. But
read this first:

"What to Know Before You Download and Install Windows XP Service Pack 2"
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/sp2/sp2_whattoknow.mspx

If the pop-up ads persist even after you have installed Service Pack 2, you
most likely have adware on your computer.

Trouble with having to disable flash, is disabling flash. There's normally more
good to be found with flash on web sites than the few rotten ads that fly past
popup blockers.
