Is there a good way to get graphics from Freehand into
Powerpoint and not to lose image quality in the process?

I've tried the various export/import formats (giff, tiff,
jpeg, et al) but when the diagrams are displayed in
Powerpoint they are blurred and have jagged edges.

I've tried altering the DPI and Alias values - but that
doesn't seem to do the trick either.

Is there an easy way to import graphic diagrams and keep
the image quality?

Thanks,

Howie

Have you tried WMF or EMF?

Yes. I tried both metafile export/import and found that
the best quality has been with eps. The eps is clearer
than the metafiles - but still not perfect.

I don't know if it makes a difference, but some of the
images have gradiant fills - but I don't think that
should effect the clarity of the solid lines on boxes.

There are also random shadowings (white) that appear
around arrows and boxes in the diagrams.

But eps is the best of the export/import options - but it
still isn't perfect.

Any other hints?

Thanks,

Howie

If you're using the latest versions of PPT, then yes, EPS might work well,
if a bit unpredictably.

Try removing them in Freehand then reapplying them in PPT. Grad fills
typically produce skillions of objects when exported/imported.
