Macromedia Flashplayer and scripting errors

I am trying desperately to download Macromedia
FlashPlayer. It will not allow me to no matter what I
have tried. I receive the following IE6 scripting message:

Problems with this webpage might prevent it from being
displayed properly or functioning properly.

Line: 250
Char: 32
Error: Object does not support this property or method
Code: 0

What I am looking for is what error is this and why can't
I download Macromedia Flashplayer. Any suggestions?
