Macro to print blank records

Hi, I have 3 subforms in a form. There is one subform
that most of the time will be blank. I have saved my
forms as reports and have a print button on the bottom to
print the current record. The report must print the
formatting on the empty subform as well.

If the user does not enter any text into the 3rd subform,
I need it to print which, I think I must do my making it
create a blank record. I have searched everywhere and the
only possibility I have found is the SendKeys Action.
When I read the help file, it sounds like this might fix
the problem but, I stink at macros and am finding the
instructions confusing. Could someone please tell me if I
am on the right path - and if so, any advice?

Thanks

You probably will need to redesign your form to have two options in the
report: the current, usually blank subreport; and a formatted replacement
for when there are no data.

You then could use the OnFormat event of the section in which the subreport
is located to make one visible and the other invisble based on whether the
third subreport has any records.

Creating a blank record just so that you can cause a blank subreport to
print seems a bit overboard to me; as then you'd need to delete that blank
record afterwards too.
