When running a slide show in power point what is the code to disable the
popup tool bar

and would i run it in slide 1 load sub or somewhere else?

The option to disable is a machine specific registry entry. This would be
quite difficult to change on another machine and the user probably wouldn't
thank you if you did.

On your own PC code is not needed

Office Button > PowerPoint Options > Advanced
or
Tools>Options>View (before 2007)

In both cases untick "show pop up toolbar"
