I have a spreadsheet which will be shared over a network
and protected from editing. Users will be able to fill
in unlocked cells only.

I am trying to place buttons at the top of the
spreadsheet with associated macros so that users can be
taken directly to certain places within the spreadsheet
without having to scroll down/over.

Security is disabling any macros I try to put into the
spreadsheet. I have tried lowering macro security to low
to no avail. I have also tried creating a personal
digital signature to sign the macros so they will be
accepted (with the noted warning message). Nothing is
allowing the macros to be enabled.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Thanks so much. Will try the hyperlinks as suggested.

Hi Valerie

This is too weird. You did all the right things and
everything should behave as you expect
it to do. But I have limited experience with shared
workbooks, you may have reached a
limitation in your code, or maybe even encountered a bug.

But my real message is that Hyperlinks (found in Insert
menu) can do the navigation job
without code. Suggest you give it a try, for navigation
links are even more intuitive than
