Hi,

I would like to change the Macro security level in Excel
2000 from High to Medium.

This is to facilitate my users to operate some in-house
developed applications.

I am changing for the whole of organisation.
How can I update that in the registry ??

Would appreciate some kind souls for assistance.

It appears that the DWORD value at
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Excel\Security\
Level=

Is changed (3=High, 2=Medium)
(using REGMON to monitor)

That key is <user account>:FULL access so perhaps a .REG file Merge
technique will work for you. I'd check in at an Office group perhaps
for more info. Other methods may be available... Group Policy?
