I posted a powerpoint presentation on the web. On some
computers, it asks you if you want to enable to disable
the macros associated with the powerpoint presentation,
but I didn't create any macros. Does anyone know why it
would ask people that question when the document itself
does not contain one macro?

You could have accidentally inserted some of the objects from the Control
Toolbox (command buttons, check boxes, text boxes, etc.), which might have
caused PowerPoint to include modules to house code that might be added to
these objects. Open the PowerPoint presentation, press ALT-F11 to enter the
Visual Basic Editor, and see if there are any "Modules" to the left, or if
there are any lines of code to the right.

If so, post back and we'll try and step you through getting rid of them.
Some times you can click on the "Module", click the "File" menu and click
"Remove". Sometimes you might need to copy all the slides to a blank
presentation to get rid of this pesky code stuff.

Let us know what you find.

When it comes to VB, I know nothing so please excuse this
simplistic question. After I hit Alt F11, VB appears but
the screen is gray. There is no window showing modules
and there is no window showing code. Does that mean
there is nothing to see?
