I'd like to add a serial number to Powerpoint slides. I'd like to add 3 text
boxes to one slide and within the text boxes there would be a number that
would increase by 3 with every copy that is printed. Can anyone help me?

The two key components you will need are:

1) A place to store the number. This could be in the registry, in a file on
the hard drive, a tag in the presentation, on a website, whatever. But you
will also have to tell the computer what to do if it can not find this
number or this place. Is this something that will be machine-specific or
global?

2) An event trap to capture the print event. The code than find the counter
you have stashed, increase it by 3, then re-stash it back where it found it.
