Macro Error

For some reason whenever I try to record a new macro, I am getting the error
message "Unable to record". I have never gotten this before. Has anyone
else seen this, and possibly know what's wrong?

Try re-installing Excel over the top of your current installation and make
it a full install so the VBA components get loaded
