I created a macro and then used a custom button with a
short cut to the macro. There was a mistake in the macro
and I don't know visual basic so I couldn't edit the macro
so I created a new one with a new custom button. Now I
have two custom buttons and I want to delete the one that
is not function properly. How do I delete one of the
custom buttons from Excel. I opened a new workbook and
they are both still there.

Thanks for any suggestions.

From which toolbar did you create the button? If it was from the control
toolbox click the triangular ruler
and then select the button and press delete, if it was from the forms
toolbar right click it, click somewhere off the sheet and press delete. If
you created a custom button via view>toolbars>customize (or
tools>customize),
just go there again and while in customize mode drag the button from the
toolbar and drop it anywhere except
any toolbar, then close the customize window

Here is how you delete a custom button from the toolbar:

You right click on the standard toolbar and then from the
menu you choose customize. When that window comes up you
again right click on the custom button which gives you a
new menu and you choose delete. This gets rid of the
button.

I created it from the standard toolbar. I did find out
how to delete it and it is really simple. Here are the
instructions below. Thanks for your help.
