Macro compare sum write

I have created a macro to hide colums and open a worksheet. Now i need it to compare words in one column and add numbers in next column if they are the same Then write the description and total to another worksheet.
eg.
worksheet 1

Col A................Col B
5...................Apples
7 ...................Apples
3 ...................Oranges
8 ...................Oranges

Worksheet 2 After the compare calculate and write macro

12 .....................Apples
11 ....................Oranges
