I have my letterhead with logo saved as a file called letterhead
Everytime I want to use my letterhead I have to open the file and choose the
file named letterhead for it to load
I would love to assign a shortcut key to this
Is this possible
thanks

Save your document as a template, then use File | New... to create a new
document based on it.

If you save your letterhead as a template it will present itself in the new
templates dialog.
If you want instant access to a document add it to the Work menu (you will
probably have to add the Work menu to the toolbar with tools > customize)
If you drop a shortcut to your letterhead template onto the desktop clicking
it will open a new document based upon it.

Following up on Graham and Suzanne's advice, you can put a shortcut to your
letterhead template in your Start menu. For more options see
http://addbalance.com/word/templatesmenu.htm. If you have a macro to create
a new document based on your template, you can assign a keyboard shortcut to
the macro. The first step, though, is to save it as a template.

Take a look at: How to set up letterhead or some other document where you
want one header on the first page and a different header on other pages.
http://www.addbalance.com/word/headersfooters.htm This gives step-by-step
instructions. (It also has the following links)
