machine seems to kind of semi-cycle when i try to log in.

last night, i made a lot of changes to it, for instance i installed NA05
(Norton anti-v 2005) and deleted some user accounts that were not used
anymore. then i renamed mine ect... and did a few other things like changed
the virtual mem. and turned off system restore. then i let norton run
overnight. i get up and delete offending files it found, the usual crap....
then when i restart it and try to log back in the normal loading your
settings prompt appears, then i see the saving your settings prompt and im
back to the login screen. im not far away from formatting this thing but i
would really like to avoid it untill i can get the drive ready for a format.
any suggestions as to what the friggin heck my pc is doing? never seen
behavior like this before.

same issue as the other post with the subject userinit failed to
initialize.....
