We use Terminal Server for one application which is
installed on a separate server. The terminal server
hosts 5 users and is lightly used.
Users using the current Macintosh OSX client, and the
revision before, experience slow screen redraws as the
enter data. Starting the application through the
terminal server is very fast, but once the start entering
data, you can see flashes on parts of the screen that
make it look like the entire screen is redrawing, and the
screen can't keep up with the data input. If you do a
heads down data entry method you can very quickly get way
ahead of the screen.
Windows RDP client has no such problems.
We have played with some of the settings on the Mac
Client regarding colors, resolution and compression, but
did not notice any significant changes.
I somehow think it *might* be related to the video
drivers somehow, but I don't know what I can change that
might make an effect.
Any ideas?
Thanks....
