Mac logging on to AD issue - ".DS_Store"

I've come across a "problem" with the macs logging on to AD: when they
browse through a mapped share (CIFS) on a windows server with Mac
Finder, it generates a ".DS_Store" file in each directory that has
been browsed. Do you know of a way around this? If not, I'm not aware
of any apple support here, but can you maybe contact them about this
issue? It is admitmac independent and proprietary to MAC OS itself.

..DS_Store files are where Mac OS X saves local metadata about that
directory, like what view type was in use, and icon positioning when the
windows was closed.

These can be prevented from being created on a linux samba share, but I
haven't found a way in Windows.

You can freely ignore them, they can be freely deleted; they're an annoyance
to windows users, nothing more, since they're visible to them.
