The OS X page at Hyperjeff.net, http://osx.hyperjeff.net/ has a nice software
listing for Mac OS X apps.

It's one of the Mac sites listed at:

Which has more good links --- System 6 Heaven also listed thre is good for old
Mac OS (pre X) abandonware:

and http://www.versiontracker.com started as a Mac site and is still very good
for tracking new Mac software.

For Mac OS X, there's Fink that brings open-source applications to Mac:

http://fink.sf.net . Never used this as I don't have a Mac, though.
