I design websites using both Frontpage and Dreamweaver. If a client was using
a MAC would they be able to edit the webpages I design for them on their MAC?
Is a MAC able to open and work with Frontpage and the Windows version of
Dreamweaver?
Would there be problems?

There is no current MAC version of FP. If the site uses any FP component, then editing or publishing
the site outside of FP will corrupt the site.

It's all text files of HTML and javascript code. Sure - they would be
usable/editable on any platform.

Hello Murray,

So if they were to edit their pages on a code level, would there be no
problems? This client would not be attempting to alter menus or content
position, they would simply be altering the body text.

However, once they have edited said pages, would there not be a conflict of
systems once published?

Yes, if the page contained any FP run-time components. Also if the live/remote server has the FP
extensions and the page are edited/uploaded outside of FP, then FP would not be aware that page has
been updated.
