MAC address

I need to take my laptop to other countries for a
presentation, and they have asked for MAC address of my
ethernet card. When I do ipconfig /all I get a physical
address. Is that the same as the MAC address.

Yes....that is the MAC address...or also called the "physical address". Keep
in mind...some network hardware that requires a MAC address will require
that you use to leading 00. So an address of ABCDEFG would actually be
00ABCDEFG.
