Mac address in apc and eeprom failed

I am getting an error at boot.
MAC Address in APC and EEPROM Failed.
Press [F1].
How do i fix it?

Sounds like your NIC is dying. You might try physically removing it,
wiping off the contacts with a clean cloth, and reinserting it; this
is far from guaranteed to work, but it is free. I suspect that you
will soon be replacing that NIC with a new one; the good news is
that NICs are cheap.
