many thanks dw

All you have to do, is to right-click the song you want then choose "save
target as". Now what will be downloaded is a small little HTML type page
file. Open that file in an editor such as "Notepad". Find the URL inside
to the mp3 that you want. Copy that URL. Now create yourself a little HTML
file with that URL as a hyperlink. Open your new HTML file and right click
your new hyperlink and choose "save target as" now you can save the mp3 to
your computer. It does not work on all, but must. :)

Hello,
Is it possible to download the actual mp3 that
these files/links refer to?

just open .m3u in text editor and see, where it refers to.
Its easy, to download http, other protocols are more difficult.
