m/s anti-spyware

spyware ok..BUT..suddenly after starting update for 3/4 seconds red line
comes up saying that I have no internet connection. just suddenly happened
nothing touched , even on rollback still comes up. any ideas....zee

Are you saying that the network connections are failing since you ran MS
AntiSpyware BETA (BETA means - "in testing") or are you saying that
something is wrong with MS AntiSpyware BETA (BETA means - "in testing")?

Have you ran other AntiSpyware applications (perhaps ones NOT in BETA?)
Have you scanned for viruses/trojans/worms?
Have you checked your hardware drivers?
What kind of Internet connection do you have?
How do you "connect" to your Internet connection? Network, telephone or
USB?
 
When I started my pc the other day, I got a message on the black screen
saying my "system has been tampered with .... turn off and then turn on your
computer". After a few attempts, I was able to start it after hitting F8. I
had difficulty starting my pc again the next time but it wouldn't turn off
right away. I used F8 again (not sure why this would work). The problem
seems to occur only with full shut down. Not restart.

Today, the message I got on the black screen before the Windows XP Home
startup was:
"186 Hardware Security Control Logic Error". It did continue on to the XP
startup.

1. What is the problem? and how can I fix it?

2. I still don't know how to back up my system with XP Home. I guess the
backup feature is only with XP Office. Where can I get instructions for
system backup for XP Home?

the spyware was working ok , I went to update and the above happened , no
system clash , nothing new added,..stuck in bed with injured spine and it
niggles not knowing what cause it,..like a firewall denial..but is not. ??
