I am recording my demo on my Dell desktop the sound card
that came with it, has a high hiss when things are
recorded into it. So I purchased a M Audio Delta 66
sound card. The output jacks work perfectly but, when I
try to activate the input jacks a message comes up
saying: This device can not start(Code 10)
What is the problem?

If your PC has an on-board sound unit it needs to be disactivated in the
BIOS.

On boot-up press the DEL key or F10 or whatever you have to for Dell and go
into the BIOS. Deactivate the on-boar sound, save to CMOS and you should
have no more problems. If you do re-post.

Cheers,
Jerry
