Hello to the group

Can anyone remember the lyrics to "The King who wanted Jam
for Tea" an old song or monologue by Stanley Holloway? Have
googled till I'm crosseyed.

I am pretty good with finding old and obscure lyrics and the searches
I've made have come up with notta, so I am confident that either it
ain't in English (which I know SH isn't a Frenchman) or it is a
monologue.

I found http://monologues.co.uk/cgi-bin/MasterSearch.cgi which
carries some of SH's works but not the one you want... they however
have a forum there that has some activity that might be able to help
you...

Gosh! didn't expect a reply to such an off topic misplaced
post

Thanks to Frank & Br1ght for the links. I believe it comes
from an album called 'Concert Party' by SH That's as far as
I have got

Will look into the forum quoted, your not all strait laced
in here ;-))
