I had to buy Ad-ware Plus and run it to clean out all the
spyware on my computer, it took Lycos side search off my
computer...I had tried many things and it kept coming back
before I used Ad-ware Plus...

Ad-aware plus has the "Ad-watch" *real time* scanning
Spyware executable.
'Freeware' Ad-aware does away with Lycos Side Search.

You'll notice that it is under the Ad-aware freeware banner at
Lavasoft Support.
