Do all active terminators work on U2W, U160 and U320? I'm trying to
buy a few on Ebay and even when I look up the specs on them they don't
say how fast they are good for. How do you know? I want to run them
at U160 but it would be nice if they worked at U320 in case I need it.

Most terminators, active or not, that are designed for single-ended
applications will ground the line that indicates differential operation
(DIFFSENS), and so force all LVD/SE devices into SE mode. They usually also
connect together all of the ground lines in the SE specs, so they will not
work in differential mode even if the DIFFSENS line is not itself grounded.
So you won't get basic U2W, let alone faster.

Get a terminator rated for U320 operation.
