Computer xp pro. Boot up to desktop no icons with an alert box

lsass.exe error, Security account error Boot up in safe mode.

Have tried to boot in safe mode but it brings me back to
the same warning its like in a loop.

Can not run any of my virus removers as they requirewindows to be up and
running.
Is there any DOS based program for scanning hard drive through for these
type of Viruses.

youneed to goto microsoft website and get the removal tool to clean the
lsass virus out

dos will probably not be able to read your filesystem (and anti-virus
products rely on the OS to parse the filesystem for them)... you might
try http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/

Download the latest knoppix iso and burn it to a CD, then boot your
machine on the CD, it will read FAT32 and NTFS and you will be able to
access all of the files from an easy to use GUI (KDE) now download your
favourite command line linux AV scanner and scan away, finally save the CD
and download for your friends :)

Mail me if you need a C/L Scanner.
