Hi All,

I have one peculiar issue with one of the windows 2000 severs.

We had configured one of the server in which SQL was running to use TCP port
2048.

Some days back we started getting calls from the usres that they were not
able to connect to SQL server.

When troubleshooting the issue we found that the TCP Port 2048 which was
earlier being used by the sql server is being now being used by LSASS.EXE
process.

We do not know how LSASS.exe process started using the TCP port 2048.

We want to change the TCP Port 2048 used by LSASS.EXE to some other TCP port.

My question is

Is it possible to change the TCP Port used by LSASS.exe process as this is
being dynamically assigned by the winodws OS.

I search the internet and did not get any clues.

Any help will be very much appericated.
