Hello to all. I would want to acquire one scanner Nikon. Model LS5000
is faster, but the final quality of the scansions is similar or is
much various one? Thanks.

The final quality of the scans is very similar from both of these
scanners. The LS-5000 has a 16-bit ADC whilst the LS-50 has a 14-bit
unit, but in practice this makes very little difference at all.

The main advantage of the LS-5000 over the LS-50 is its speed and
capability for high volume usage through support for bilk film adapters
etc. As such, it is targeted at the professional use where bulk and
speed are driving parameters. Where this is less so, the LS-50 is
usually a perfectly acceptable alternative at a much lower cost.
