Lryomedia webcan for windows XP

I have recently purchased a webcam Lyromedia and installed the software and hardware, but when i try and use in msn/skype, says there is no webcam.
I have looked and tryed varies methods in control panel/sounds and audio devices but still no joy, was wondering if any one has any ideas.
