Hi.

WinXP Sp3

When I click on ...

My Network Places
Microsoft Windows Network

.... I see my workgroups. Inside the workgroups, the computers are listed.

Workgroups and computers are always shown first letter uppercase, rest
lowercase. Both names are not shown as entered in the configuration.

Can I change this behavior to as entered in the configuration, all
lowercase or all uppercase?

Thanks,

Computer names are case-insensitive, so it makes no practical
difference whether characters are uppercase or lowercase.

I'm sorry, but I don't know what you mean by "as entered in the
configuration".

It's more an optical than question rather than practical. Actual
operation is not concerned.

My appologies:
"Workgroup" and "Computer name" - as entered in ...

System Properties
Computer Name Changes

Thanks,
