I've been freestyling these replies instead of using the standard
tried and true templates that I use, since you stated that the drivers
were all fine, however .. maybe the still need updating/replacement?
Go to the Windows Update site for everything under Critical and
Recommended:
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com Some games
require a patch:

Update DirectX and your Chipset, Sound, &Video Drivers:
