low ink setting.

Can anyone please tell me how to set my Canon s200x
printer to show when the ink is running low? Also the
spall check is in English (U.S) How do i set this to
English (uk)? and finally the poundsign on my keyboard
comes up as # again how do i correct this.

Most Canon printers require that you set the ink monitoring utility up when
you install a new ink cartridge. Next time you replace the ink, go to the
printers and faxes folder (Start>Printers and Faxes), rt. click your
printer, select properties. There you should find and "Maintenance" tab. If
you open that you should see a low ink setting buttton, set that and next
time you get low it should give you a message. You probably want to contact
Canon if the low ink setting button isn't present for more information on
enabling the Status Monitor. Check the FAQ section on this link:
