Low disk space

Hey guys,
My pc has been using up all its disk space, and when i uninstall prgrams or delete something, its says theres space for about two mins, then when i go back and check my disk space is at 0KB. Is this a virus??
Also my pc wont let me open any programs, it says "not a valid Win32 application" I have run Panda Antivirus numerous times but it has found nothing, and because of the current state of my pc i cant download a new antivirus or install one.
I also tried to back up some data onto a Cd but it wont let me do that either, it says "An error occured while trying to copy". I was thinking about wiping my whole system , but if i cant back stuff up i dont see the point.
Any ideas??

Well the easiest way to back up is to email yourself the stuff you want to back up... services like Yahoo and Hotmail give you 1gb free mail storage and in addition Yahoo always had a digital photo albumn that you could use. If that will eb enough room to back up to then I say wipe it....

I would suggest a USB flash drive is easier than emailing yourself everything! If it will let you copy them. I reckon there is more chance of this than writing to cd.
