Low Disk Space (Temporary Internet Files)

I keep getting the 'low disk space' warning, even though
I should have 6GB of space free. I checked all folders
in the C drive to see which was using the most space.
The folder with the most "data" was 'Temporary Internet
Files,' in the folder 'Local Settings,' and so on. I
read through a few posts and found no answer. So any
help would be appreciated.
