I've been having problems lately with Windows XP displaying the "Low on Disk Space Error". I haven't downloaded anything recently but I have monitored the usage of my C: drive and one minute it says 4.50 GB's free, about half an hour later it said 112MB free. What the hell is happening here?

I've continued to delete plenty of stuff from my hard drive, backing it up onto DVD and removing it from the Recycle Bin, and I should have about 30 GB free now, but I only have around 200MBs at the moment. It increases slightly as I restart the computer, but no matter how much I delete, the space will rapidbly be used up.

Search for all files with today's timestamp.... any interesting results?
(Ensure you have allowed all filetypes to be displayed!)
- Explorer-Tools-Folder Options-View..
Select 'Show hidden files and folders'
UNSELECT 'Hide extensions for known file types'
UNSELECT 'Hide protected operating system files'
