We can work through this. To start, memory and drive space are two different
things that are easy to confuse.
Memory refers to your computer's RAM, where data is held temporarily while
your processor is working on it. Drive space refers to the amount of free
space on your hard drive, where data can be stored permanently. Like all
other 'drives' on your computer, the hard drive is assigned a letter, which
is commonly C.
We need to know whether you are running low on memory or drive space. Each
problem has a different solution. If you are running low on memory, you need
to close some of the programs you are running and perhaps buy more memory.
If you are running low on drive space, you need to run Disk Cleanup or
perhaps uninstall programs you are no longer using or even buy a larger hard
drive.
If I had to take a guess at what your problem is, I would say that your
computer is infected by a virus or spyware that is consuming large amounts
of memory, making it difficult for you to run the programs you want to run.
