You forgot to give us details about your computer but since you
reference "Restore", I'm guessing this is an OEM machine (Sony, HP,
etc.) which has a special partition for restoring the computer to
factory condition. If this is the case, you should *not* be saving
anything to this partition, changing anything on it, or messing about
with it in any way. Do not defrag it either. Leave it alone.
If this is not your situation, please post back with a full description
of your computer and what the D: drive really is.
