Hello "Gordon":
I think I just read in the last couple of days that the purpose of the
Intel chipset update was because anyone installing Vista SP1 with an older
chipset driver would run into to some pretty bad problems during the SP1
install. Since I've gone to a PCIE video card and don't use integrated
graphics anymore, the details didn't soak in but there are likely to be
problems if he doesn't update the driver and installs the SP1 update
.......knowingly or unknowingly.
