I saw all the stuff online about how it goes after Windows NT, 2000 and XP -
how about Windows 98? I have my XP box updated(and how I"m posting this
message), but all my critical data is on my 98 box. And I have a Netgear
router/firewall in the mix as well. Should I update my Win98, if I can? I
tried all of Micosoft's update sites, but they must be all down in
anticipation of the DDOS attack.

The M/S sites seem to be working now. Even though MSBlaster/LoveSan won't
affect Win98, it's always a good idea to apply all crtical updates. Just ask
the people I work for about applying critical updates on all user machines
;). This is the first time I've seen an "all volunteer IT Army" going into
facilities to clean up a mess.
