@D360($B$2,E194)/30; 2.

This is the formula is used in Lotus 1-2-3 to figure Time left on a CD to maturity

What would I use in Excel, this formula is one that does not convert.

I'm not sure, but take a look at DAYS360

The only thing is, when I replace "D360" with "DAYS360," it comes up saying that there is an error in my formula (with the 30 being highlighted).

So the formula

=DAYS360($B$2,E194)/30

generates an error, or are you trying to enter

=DAYS360($B$2,E194)/30; 2.9

? If the latter, the '; 2.9' bit is a 123 in-cell comment, which Excel can't
support. I guarantee it played no part in the 123 formula's calculation. Use the
first formula above.

The help says the format is
days360(date1,date2)

so you can just put a /30 after it to divide it by 30.

so DAYS360(A1,B1)/30 should work fine.

Yes, the problem was as Harlan suggested. I did not remove the calculation of 2.9. When I did, the formula worked fine.

Thank for all your help.
