Am using WinXP-pro, wondered how many "recent" shortcuts Windows keeps
before it starts deleting them or if it deletes them at all.
Does it retain a certain number such as 100? Does it delete old ones, older
than X days old?
Not talking about the ones in Start > All Programs > My recent Documents,
for which the number of files it displays can be set (although can't seem to
find where), but
Rather, I'm asking about the shortcuts (icons) to recently used files in the
actual FILE FOLDERS, like...
WINDOWS:
C:\Documents and Settings\John Doe\Recent
MS OFFICE:
C:\Documents and Settings\John Doe\Application Data\Microsoft\Office\Recent
