If I verify the code at http://validator.w3.org/, it shows lots of errors
on pages produced with Frontpage. Is there a way of setting Frontpage to
clear errors, or any other method?
Thanks,

Nick,
A lot depends on the level of compliance that your client requires. If your
client doesn't care, you needn't care. If it is a governmental requirement,
determine where the error is, look at it in Code view and make the necessary
revisions.
Have fun!

Do not use themes (or apply them using CSS) and do not use FrontPage
navigation components. This will considerably reduce the error count.
The rest can be eliminated by tweaking in Code/HTML view.

"Lots of errors" is very vague.

What sorts of errors? (can you give a few examples?).

All the errors 1-10 result from using VML graphics, which will never
validate. Either ignore the errors, or remove the VML.
VML graphics are produced by Word Art, Text Boxes and any other shapes
and lines from the FrontPage/Office drawing tool bar. VML will only
display in IE5.5 and later running on Windows PCs - other browsers
will display a low quality down-level .gif if you have allowed that
setting.

The other errors are HTML errors that need to be corrected.
