Ok, I've never done any web development and recently I dove into asp.
I used some online training from Macromedia University to figure out
how to use asp w/ Dreamweaver. I want to use asp.net if possible
though becuase it is the "next wave". I don't want to start out a
step behind. I tried to make a database connection using the
connection wizard in Dreamweaver, but it wouldn't let me. I am using
a Visual FoxPro database (.dbc) and it says that the name is either
too long or it can't find it and there is no default driver. So, what
do I do. Do I need to be using SQL Server instead of FoxPro. I just
feel so overwhelmed and don't know where to find and real info. Not
technical jargon, but real life stuff to help me actually create the
pages I need to create. Any help would be great. Thank you very
much.
