lotes of packets send and received in my lan

hi, i am using windows Xp machine as a inter getway. but recently after some virus cline my both lan card properties shows lotes of packets are send and received, and after a while internet cunnection gone. My computer was attect by w32 and COOL.EXE virus........what shout i do now?
