Boot to safe mode and log into the administrator account.
Remove the password from your account.

There is no "unique password that all cpu's have". In XP Home, boot the
computer into Safe Mode. Do this by repeatedly tapping the F8 key as
the computer is starting up. This will get you to the right menu.
Navigate using your Up arrow key; the mouse will not work here. Once in
Safe Mode, you will see the normally hidden Administrator account. The
default password is a blank.

In XP Pro, you do not need to go into Safe Mode. At the Welcome Screen,
do Ctrl-Alt-Del twice to get the classic Windows logon box. Type in
"Administrator" and whatever password you assigned when you set up
Windows.

If you reset the built-in Administrator account's password in Home or
have Pro and don't remember the password, use NTpasswd to change the
built-in Administrator account's password to a blank. Then go to the
User Accounts applet in Control Panel and set passwords that you will
remember and make other desired changes.

Then reinstall the OS.

If it was a retail license and you have proof of purchase:

If it was an OEM license, you should contact the computer's
manufacturer.

There is no masterpassword for all cpus otherwise anyone could access
someone else's computer using an administrator account and reak havoc. If
you forget your original password check the hint that you gave yourself when
you created the password. You can check your hint by doing the following (If
you're at the Welcome Screen): Once the Welcome screen appears and a list of
all of the accounts on your computer appears. Select the user account you
want to log on with and click on the ? in the blue box to the right of your
account name. A dialog box should appear with your password hint.
