Lost Word File

I was working on a Word 2000 Pro file when I, unfortunately,
clicked no instead of yes to save the changes to document.

Of course the file is gone from Word, but I was wondering if

the file could be located somewhere else on my computer?

No. "System Restore" restores *System* files, not *Application Program*
files.
Yes: microsoft.public.word.newusers

It's gone.
System restore will not help.
It is not anywhere.
It was in memory, you did not save it to disk, it is gone from memory and
gone for good.

And yes - there are newsgroups just for Microsoft Office products...
