I have a Gateway Desktop P/C that was bought in 2004, with Windows XP Home
Edition. It has (or should say Had) Windows Media Center Edition 2005
installed.
The other day I went to open the Program to watch some old recorded Tv shows
of the Twilight Zone. When I tried to open it...it gave me some wierd
messages of....( ehshell.exe - Common Language Runtime Debugging
Services....Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.
... Process id = 0x54c (1356), Thread id = 0x12c (3000)......Click ok to
term....clik cancle to debugg...
When I click Cancle....Registered JIT Debugger is not avialable.
I tried to open it as the Administrador..nothing..I then open up System
Restore. I tried to Restore on the System to a early date about two weeks
ago...(The Last time I had used the Media Center.
After the Restore/Reboot, I tried to open the program again...NOTHING...SAME
ERROR MESSAGE...AAARRRGGGGGG.
Can Some One (by the grace of the great computer gods) HELP me.
I also right clicked on the shortcut and checked the Properties...under the
General tab I saw a Modified date of 10/4/2007...What the Heck...I know I
didn't modify it. Also I was able to find the Target.
I also did some other things..In control Panel...Add/Remove I dont see the
program there any more, nor in the Startup Program list.
Any advice??? Thank you in advance for anyones help....You guys helped me
before with a Vista Printing problem
