Lost Unread Messages Folder

Outlook 2003
I've probably done something very stupid here and it may be irrreparable.
I had tested out a back up of my pst-file and returned to the original file.
I then found that I had two Unread Mail Search folders, one saying Unread
Messages in Personal Folders. I deleted this and lost both. When I try to
open
the back-up I get the message:
A Runtime Error has occurred. Do you wish to Debug?

Error: Access is denied.

Have I completely messed up Outlook for ever, including if I buy a new
version?

You can't recreate the search folder by using File -> New -> Search Folder?
