Hi,

I had the windows explorer crash so badly that now when I open it, it
has no menu or toolbars at all. Now I generally open it by right-clicking
on My Computer and selecting "Explore". If I double-click on My Computer,
the toolbars are all there, and I can click the "Folders" button to achieve
the desired effect, but I would prefer not to have to do that for the rest
of my days :o) So my assumption is that something in the registry got
corrupted. I located the Registry Streams and deleted them all, but the
only affect that had was to reset the position at which the window appears.
Does anyone have any suggestions for some registry values that could
possibly be erased to bring back my toolbars and menus?

Any help is greatly apprecaited!
Chris

I had this same problem and was able to fix it. Try the solution at
http://tinyurl.com/6mb8b It's pretty simple. You just have to delete
two registry values. Good luck!
